The City of Rosemount is accepting applications for part-time Building Attendants at the Rosemount Community Center/Ice Arena and Rosemount Steeple Center. Approximately 6 - 20 hours/week working primarily evenings and weekends depending on scheduled activities. Duties include: monitoring and maintaining city facilities and grounds, coordinating minor maintenance and repairs, performing landscaping and custodial tasks, providing customer service, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the supervision of the Recreation Facilities Manager.

Physical Requirements and Activity
This work requires the regular exertion of up to 10 pounds of force, frequent exertion of up to 25 pounds of force and occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires standing, walking, speaking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel, pushing or pulling and repetitive motions and occasionally requires sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, tasting or smelling and lifting.
Sensory Requirements
Work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels.
Sensory Utilization
Work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, using of measuring devices, operating machines, operating motor vehicles or equipment and observing general surroundings and activities.
Environmental Conditions
Work occasionally requires wet, humid conditions (non-weather), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, exposure to outdoor weather conditions and exposure to extreme cold (non-weather); work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
